Thank you for participating in the 33 Immortals Beta! We hope that you’ve been enjoying the experience and having fun building your strength for the rebellion.
We’ve received many reports from players about issues they’ve encountered during the Beta, and we apologize for any negative impact this might have had on your experience. A lot of times, bugs can occur when the game is live that we don’t see on our end with just the team playing. The point of the Beta is to test and find these issues as much as possible to make sure our Early Access release is smooth, as well as giving you all an early opportunity to play.
We’ve decided to release a patch with a bunch of bug fixes and some new features to test these out while we can, and as a thank you for your patience and understanding while we smooth out the experience.
Please note that this will not fix the existing crashes such as the Lucifer ascension or getting stuck on Beatrice. We are aware of these issues and still working hard to resolve them, but they are not included in the fixes that we are sharing at this time.
As for what we've got in store for you, here's the latest patch details:
New
- Players on Keyboard can now play with QWERTY, AZERTY, or DVORAK layouts.
- Added an option to toggle the mouse locking to the game window.
- Added a Compendium pop-up about dead party members and Soul Shrines.
- Introductory cutscene has been updated.
- Subtitles have been added to the introductory cutscene in all languages.
- The game has been fully localized in the following languages:
- English, French, Spanish (EU), Spanish (LATAM), German, Italian, Portuguese.
Updates
Loadout
- Training Rooms and the Compendium have been updated to better explain the Shattering Malus to new players.
- Added a new Compendium entry about Lucido.
- Added images to some Compendium entries.
- Adjusted the requirements for Feats relating to Daily Quests to no longer require a Daily Quest about a certain weapon.
- Relic token drop cap has been increased from 1 to 3.
- Drop rates for common, rare, epic, and legendary cosmetics have been adjusted overall to better reflect the rarity tiers.
Combat
- Adjusted how damage resistance is calculated. The previous formula required us to put a cap to damage resistance which was unintuitive and made significant investments in defense less worthwhile.There is no longer a cap to damage resistances.
- Fixed the Bow of Hope's co-op power that used to ignore boss resistances when dealing damage to a boss.
- Increased the duration of the Staff of Sloth's co-op power to 8 seconds at base.
- Increased the cooldown period of the Dagger of Greed's Takedown from 1.5 to 2 seconds.
Party System
- Permadead players will now respawn upon ascending to boss arenas if they are in a party.
- Players who are kicked from parties will now get a notification alert that they have been removed.
Enemies
- Teleport visual effects have been added to certain enemies in Purgatorio.
- Adjusted the visuals for the buff during Adam and Eve's Forbidden Knowledge attack.
- Ruota's dash attack has been slowed down.
- Reduced the number of Spadaccina that can be present in a Chamber at a time.
- Increased the overall casting time of Adam and Eve's attack Forbidden Knowledge to 120 seconds, reducing by 20 each phase.
- Adjusted the damage from Adam and Eve to not kill players in one hit.
- Adam and Eve's Sow projectiles have been reduced in number and speed.
- Loot drops from bosses have been adjusted.
- First kill will guarantee a rare halo.
- 50% drop rate chance for rare cosmetics
- 45% drop rate chance for epic cosmetics
- 5% drop rate chance for legendary cosmetics
Other
- Feat rewards have been adjusted.
- Teleport visual effects have been updated.
- Screenshake has been adjusted in various areas of the game.
Fixes
Party System
- Fixed an issue where players became untargetable for teleporting after being revived through a Soul Shrine.
- Fixed an issue where revived players could become stuck in spectate mode.
- Fixed an issue where the Party UI would be hidden behind the Captured visuals.
- Fixed an issue where players who died while emoting would emote permanently upon being revived at a Soul Shrine.
- Fixed an issue where the revive animation would not play correctly if the player was on the end of run screen when revived.
- Fixed an issue where players who were revived by Soul Shrines no longer had music.
- Fixed an issue where players could see dead and unresponsive party members when ascending to a boss arena.
- Fixed an issue where the spectator camera would move awkwardly when swapping from a dead player to a player in a Chamber.
- Fixed an issue where players who were revived through a Soul Shrine did not animate or respond to inputs properly.
- Fixed an issue where players would no longer see their interaction bar after reviving through a Soul Shrine.
- Fixed an issue where a dead party member's equipment would appear in Boss Arenas if they were still on the loading screen when others spawned in.
- Fixed an issue where emotes no longer had sound effects after a player was revived at a Soul Shrine.
- Fixed an issue where the Soul Shrine's revive prompt could be triggered before filling the interaction bar.
- Fixed an issue where players who were revived through the Soul Shrine would not have their shattered status displayed properly.
- Fixed an issue where players in Spectate mode could see other player's metacurrencies.
- Fixed an issue on console where attempting to join a full party incorrectly triggered an error message.
- Fixed an issue where permadead party members still counted as an active member in Chambers.
- Fixed an issue where the nearest Soul Shrines did not have a waypoint when a party member was permadead if players were too far.
Loadout
- Fixed an issue where it was possible to become softlocked in Training Rooms by not picking up the Dust.
- Fixed an issue where re-rolling Relics in the player inventory could be used to exploit the Equip Relics Feat.
- Fixed an issue where Quest Boards incorrectly had a notification for a new quest.
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to quit to main menu while in Soul Form during Training Sessions.
- Fixed an issue in one of the tutorials where the players could trick Beatrice into thinking they healed by buying a key or teleport stone.
- Fixed an issue where players were not reviving in the right spot during the Tutorial.
- Fixed an issue where quitting the Tutorial partway through could cause visual issues in the Perks menu.
- Fixed an issue where rare chests would sometimes not spawn a Relic.
Combat
- Fixed an issue where getting revived by two players at the same time would cause the revived player to be permanently slowed down.
- Fixed an issue where the UI would not properly update to reflect the Papal Heart relic removing Shattered Malus when ascending to a boss.
- Fixed an issue where players would sometimes enter Soul Form instead of dying when they had Shattered Malus.
- Fixed an issue where the camera would briefly flicker out of bounds while leaving a Chamber.
- Fixed an issue where players were sometimes hit by Holy Fire when entering the Chamber in the Tutorial.
- Fixed an issue where dashing too quickly after using the Staff of Sloth's Torpor ability could cause a loss of functionality.
- Fixed an issue where a trap in a Purgatorio Chamber appeared active before the Chamber started.
- Fixed an issue where traps in the Secret Chambers would remain inactive while the Chamber was going.
- Fixed an issue where players could continue to hit dead monsters to generate co-op power gauge.
- Fixed an issue where getting kicked out of a Chamber in Soul Form caused the trail to fly across the whole map.
- Fixed an issue where teleporting could stop working for all players.

- Fixed an issue where the Elite Maniac's audio for its spinning attack would continue to play after death.
- Fixed an issue where a group of Graffio would push the player around instead of attacking.
- Fixed an issue where Artiglio and Swooper were missing part of their stun animation.
- Fixed an issue where the Resistance icons for Adam and Eve were not removed after their puzzles were completed.
- Fixed an issue where the health bars for Elite enemies appeared over the map.
- Fixed an issue where Lucifer's Frozen Hate shackles would sometimes spawn prematurely.
- Fixed an issue where one of Adam and Eve's attacks would target dead players.
- Fixed an issue where the ability to zoom out the camera during boss fights was delayed.
- Fixed an issue where Guaritore would idle forever after running away from players and bumping into something.

- Fixed an issue where visual effects for fire traps in Chambers were sometimes invisible.
- Fixed an issue where interacting with things while in the middle of an action would cause animation issues.
- Fixed various issues with the trail would not display properly in Soul Form.
- Fixed an issue where the environment would flicker after dying in the Tutorial.
- Fixed an issue where players in Soul Form could catch on fire from the Holy Fire.
- Fixed an issue where other players' Emotes appeared during the permadeath animation.
- Fixed an issue where familiars were hidden by Holy Fire.
- Fixed an issue where enemy AOE attacks were causing visual issues in the Holy Fire.
- Fixed co-op power sigils to appear above the Holy Fire.
- Fixed an issue where the Co-op powers did not visually connect properly.

Menus
- Fixed an issue where audio sliders could not be moved with the D-pad on controllers.
- Fixed an issue where the Enter key could not be used to apply settings.
- Fixed an issue where swapping between Feats menus with different numbers of Feats would cause visual issues.
- Fixed an issue where the party menu would stop responding to controller inputs if the game was resized.

- Fixed an issue where other players did not see your skin properly when swapping weapon cosmetics.
