Hello Rebel Souls!
We hope you’ve been enjoying the Beta! Today we have another patch for you to address some balancing issues we’ve seen with the game, as well as address some of the performance issues players are encountering.
We hope you enjoy these updates, and please don’t hesitate to send us your thoughts (negative or positive!) through the feedback form linked in the main menu of the game.
Please be sure to update to the latest patch of the game as soon as possible in order to continue playing. The game will not kick you out to force a patch update, however you will see fewer and fewer players in game as time goes on.
Here are the latest updates to the game:
Updates
Combat
- Dash cooldown has been reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.
- A delay has been added before players start to take damage from Holy Fire.
Enemies
- HP totals for Elites has been reduced in Inferno and Purgatorio.
- Damage output for Elites has been reduced in Purgatorio from 1.5 modifier to 1.25.
- Damage output for minions has been reduced in Purgatorio from 1.5 modifier to 1.25.
- Some Elites have been nerfed:
- Elite Arciere’s chances of triggering their turret have been reduced (0.5 to 0.3)
- Elite Bruciatore now has a 3 second delay after casting the three fire AOE attacks.
- Elite Sguardo’s projectile will only explode once instead of three times
- Elite Sguardo’s moving tell should pause for 0.5 seconds instead of 0.25.
- Elite Guardian’s pause between AOE zone attacks is now 8 seconds.
Daily Quests
- Players will now receive 3 Daily Quests a day (was 1).
- Daily Quests rewards have been lowered to 35/50 (was 50/75).
- Number of quests needed to open the chest has been increased to 15 (was 7).
Fixes
Party System
- Fixed an issue where parties became unable to start a Journey if a member left during the transition.
Combat
- Fixed an issue where the Sword of Justice’s Gavel Bash and Guard could be triggered by unblockable damage such as Holy Fire.
- Fixed an issue where Lamp of Purifying Flames would still try to trigger its effects after Ascending.
- Fixed an issue where the Staff of Sloth visuals would appear to jitter/shake.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in Chambers when revived under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue where the Bow of Hope’s Guiding Light ability was delayed if the player triggered an attack without any arrows.
Enemies
- Fixed an issue where Adam and Eve’s cast bars did not properly reflect progress under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue with Lucifer that allowed players to get pushed out of bounds during one of his attacks.
- Fixed an issue where the Elite Arciere’s visual tells would play incorrectly if triggered while offscreen.
Visual Effects
- Fixed an issue with the dog familiar’s animations.
- Fixed an issue where Bruciatore’s puddles were the wrong colour.
- Fixed an issue where the teleport VFX did not follow the player.
Menus
- Fixed an issue where Relic descriptions were not displaying correctly in some languages.
- Fixed an issue where the Pause menu text was overlapping and misaligned in French and German.
Other
- Fixed various issues which should address backend errors and improve stability.
- Fixed an issue where Daily Quests were giving the wrong rewards.
- Quests should now give 1 paragon for killing a Boss.
- Quest should give 3 Eternal Shards for defeating 3 Boss health bars.
